The client came to us with an MVP, looking to improve the existing features and add new ones for their Android and iOS platforms. Upon reviewing the code, we found a few tricky bugs that needed immediate fixing. That was the first challenge, as taking over code that was built by a previous team always requires an initial assessment to ensure its viability. Once we got that out of the way, we began planning the development and implementation of the new features the client wanted to introduce.
We assigned a full-time team of developers to work on the front and back-end development of the apps, doing mostly React Native and Node.js work. As mentioned before, their first priority was to review the existing code and determine the feasibility of building upon it. We assessed it with positive results and proceeded with all the new work the MVP required.
After working with the Taste team for more than a year, their iOS, Android, and web apps are now available with lots of cool features that will help you find awesome movies and TV shows in no time.
