BlueCimarron is a comprehensive platform tailored to streamline billing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and freelancers. Offering a full suite of features—including invoice management, subscription tracking, payment reminders, and online payment processing—the app provides everything needed for efficient online billing.
Initially, the founder wanted us to resolve a series of bugs and revamp the UX/UI, making it cleaner and simpler, as well as mobile responsive. However, the first version of the product, which had been started by another company, was incomplete and not working as expected. So further work was required in order to utilize what already existed and continue working and adding features to it.
We tackled the project by addressing the client’s immediate needs while identifying gaps in the product and proposing tailored solutions. Our team—a designer, front-end developer, and back-end developer—overcame an initial lack of knowledge transfer, thoroughly exploring the existing solution. As we resolved issues, we identified further improvements, prioritizing them with the client. Through validation meetings and demos, we aligned on designs and implementation.
Our work resulted in a complete reskin of the web platform, making it fully responsive, while resolving reported issues and incorporating both fixes and new features identified during development. Key modules were either completed or newly developed, including Business and Invoicing (existing but incomplete), and new modules for Billing, Accounting, and Reports. Additional features, such as FAQs, Subscription Management, and Support, were also implemented, ensuring a comprehensive and enhanced platform.
